Hindsight is 20/20. We bet Sega has a whole laundry list of things they wish they would 've changed about the Game Gear - as well as the fact that there are 80 AA batteries for about 20 minutes playing time. And it is by far the largest "portable" console of all time. But hey, we can 't fault Sega: We had lots of fun with the thing and we' re aware of the technological limitations at the time.
But now, in 2011, we want something better . Fortunately, Ben Heck Forums lovablechevy here to save the day with the bitchin ' Game Gear mod. It 's got a five-inch screen (torn from a PSOne), internal rechargeable batteries, a separate bag and a Master Gear converter. We wouldn 't be surprised if the matter had also storage compartments for Totino \ be' s Pizza Rolls and Mountain Dew.
