If you think about it, Luigi Mansion was the first real Nintendo attempted in the survival horror. Of course, it was closer to Rent-a-ghost of Ringu - Resi or, for that matter - on the scale of scary, but not afraid to give young people from stirring from time playful, dark corridors lit by sudden flashes of light armor, brandishing their weapons as nervily Luigi edged past.
