Star Wars: The Old Republic - Sith in the head

Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. With the power, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken. The Group will release me.

One of the most memorable events

Knights of the Old Republic

was visiting the ancient Sith on Korriban and join the Sith Academy. This world had assembled an intriguing story that was more focused than those of other worlds. For players who have chosen the dark side, anchored to their characters and allowed them to explore the extreme nature of dark Jedi Darwinian means. Korriban
With one of the worlds Star Wars: The Old Republic , I had no choice but to make a mistake, corrupted (and bald) Sith Warrior. I wanted to do more than just slicing and dicing of electric shock, while the Sith Inquisitor lack of love. The dream of frolicking in the galaxy as Darth Vader led me to make a Cyborg ugly. In fact, it seemed a little Borg, I thought I could pull together in one space and time. I was wrong.

In the 200 years since the events of

Knights of the Old Republic

, Korriban has not changed much. The new Sith Academy is in better shape than before, but it's still a desert world of dust, full of dangerous animals and ripe for the plundering of graves. History is not so far from the adventures of Revan and the company, either. You must learn the ways of the Sith, fight and conspire against your classmates, weapons and various objects from the crypts and any weapon that is on their way.

Most of the missions themselves are standard MMO bread. You must find the objects and kill any number of enemies, and at a price. In addition, players have bonus missions, all the adventure that rarely deviate from killing even more enemies, but at least gives you some motivation to kill everything in your path as you make your way towards its goal.

event that highlights the mission, and it was generally the case throughout my time with the game, is in the presentation. I was not running around the graves for the equipment and XP, which was to take revenge on a fellow Sith apprentice, or convert a foreign whine a powerful force for the dark side. The deleted scenes and focus on personal research easier for players in the game. Although it may seem an immersion breaking run with thousands of other light instantiation "elect" manages to give players a player with no experience at your disposal to find groups and generally be more sociable.

not be a BioWare game, if the election does not look up. Unfortunately the limits of the genre limit the impact of their choices. Instead of a changing world, is more personal. It's more about building your character, above all the stats and equipment. It may be the illusion of choice, but knowing that my character has a personal story that had a hand in the development, in fact I feel much more invested in the game. These options range from simple choices whose hand the elements of the quest reward, to betray whole groups of people or the killing of a mentor. In my time with the game has ever seen any of my options back to bite me in the ass, but the potential is certainly there.

Unfortunately, this breaks all the time that goes into a discussion of several players. No flow of conversation, as members randomly selected from the group to talk to the NPC while the NPC is not really act as if speaking to more than one person. A good criminal Sith Inquisitor could save the life of a prisoner while my Sith Warrior was demanding his execution, but the NPC will never recognize the difference of our opinions. If you talk to my Sith Warrior will automatically assume that the decision has been selected and the one I chose.

But it is the only practical solution that remains fair and that's even better than the elimination of the story and dialogue Flashpoints all. It is also interesting to note that these conversations mutiplayer not extend to personal missions as part of their history classes or operations. Fortunately, the dialogue is quite polite and at the same time the quality of voice acting can be uneven, sometimes even at the height of any modern RPG AAA. Photo Photo Photo Photo Photo Photo
