Halo 4 - preview

Eleven years after the first version of Halo classic is the fourth incarnation, and is full of new explosions

There's something nostalgic

Halo 4

(Xbox 360). It is 11 years since the series began to trot galactic flagship title of the definition of the original Xbox, Halo:. Combat Evolved, and since then, true to its name, the franchise has grown at a pace of Darwin

Not that nothing has been added. Rather, new weapons, vehicles, and their foreign allies entered the fray with each new version. Halo 2 was the first to leave two players armed with rifles, and it was not until Halo 3 players are facing huge tanks, four legs to walk. But it is in no way a criticism to say that, ultimately, the experience of playing a game of Halo, like the shark, almost entirely undeveloped since the first perfect assassin.

largely multiplayer Halo 4 - or "much" as it was renamed inexplicably - is affectionately called by players past. There is the usual range range maps, extensive badlands mixture loaded with screening vehicles, high-tech air-filled fortresses elevators, balconies and transparent drops, as well as the usual range of weapons, including energy swords and sniper rifles, and some great new additions. And while there are new vehicles in the countryside, Infinity focuses on the classics: Warthog buggy, hover bike abroad, the Spirit and a quad useless picturesque disarmed, mongoose

The most noticeable change is a new approach to unlock. Featured Titles previous levels and the beaches, but stayed out of the experience of combat itself. No more. In Halo 4, players gain levels - or - Spartans ranges that allow them to unlock new weapons charge outputs, switching, for example, your battle rifle to an assault rifle, grenades or plasma. This is the same system used in most other modern FPS, but in a Halo game where the best weapons are considerably more powerful than the worst, there is a risk that it feels a little unfair. You know, the n00bs.
