Layoffs strike 38 Studios

Governor of Rhode Island Lincoln Chafee confirms Amalur developer besieged made cuts amid loan negotiations underway.

38 Studios has reduced its head count, according to governor Chafee.

Rhode Island, based on areas Amalur and Copernicus project developer 38 Studios has released a series of layoffs, according to a report from the Associated Press. Last night, Ocean State Governor Lincoln Chafee, told the news agency that the study was conducted unspecified cuts to its workforce.

Studios has reduced its workforce, according to the governor Chafee.

  • The report says company founder Curt Schilling brushed past reporters as he left a meeting Monday night, saying only that a lot of "misinformation" that revolves around. 38 Studios employs 379 full-time employees as of the end of March. It is unclear how many employees were dismissed, and that time is short, 38 studies had not responded to GameSpot request for comment.
