Review: NiGHTS into Dreams...

Full disclosure: I did not

Nights

when originally released on the Saturn. I got the demo disc, but never played, and the PlayStation 2 version never came to North America. Now it is available for download on the console, I thought I'd take a crack at it and see what all the hype was about back in the day.

I was not prepared for this game.

If you ask me why

Nights

was about (if I had read the story already), I would say that I could not answer to this question - and I have not done enough LSD. The lack of game dubbing or text explores the history leaves much to your imagination, and I'm sure his first game let you wondering if perhaps hallucinogens.

Play the game an exercise in patience. In fact, there is no danger when flying around as enemies are few, which is not bad, and was easily dispatched by them loop around or even fly towards them at high speed. There is also the "loops", or course levels themselves. At first I thought I had total control of three-dimensional and can fly in the background, I saw orbs waiting to be picked. Unfortunately, I had to follow the linear path, of course, that particular level. It is as if the levels are on track - far from it. You can fly forward, backward, up and down. However, each "cycle" level has a fixed trajectory to be followed by up to 20 orbs to collect. Once this is done, and you return to catch with them, changing the loop road nearby and you can choose the next 20 orbs along each path.

(Xbox 360). It is 11 years since the series began to trot galactic flagship title of the definition of the original Xbox, Halo:. Combat Evolved, and since then, true to its name, the franchise has grown at a pace of Darwin

Not that nothing has been added. Rather, new weapons, vehicles, and their foreign allies entered the fray with each new version.
